Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she met in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May 2016. Silk has played a range of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to work on the show. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) as one of their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television.
